If innovation begins with a flicker of ingenuity, then we are determined to continuously challenge ourselves, defy convention, reinvent and do the unexpected.
Because of this ethos, the Mazda CX-30 is available with our revolutionary, groundbreaking, new Skyactiv-X engine. Which has the benefits of a spark-ignition petrol engine combined with those of a compression-ignition diesel engine. It uses a world-first technology called Spark Controlled Compression Ignition (SPCCI) which burns less fuel than a conventional petrol engine, but makes more power. It produces fewer emissions, but provides better performance than a regular petrol engine.
An engine that is both fuel efficient and powerful, why compromise when you can drive Skyactiv-X?
CONNECTING CAR AND DRIVER
For decades, we’ve studied the human body: how it moves, sensations of touch, sound and sight, muscle and skeletal structure. Every consideration has been made so the Mazda CX-30 feels as if it were built just for you. Effortlessly responding to your direction. This is the human-centric design philosophy known as Jinba Ittai—horse and rider as one. You feel as though your Mazda is an extension of your body.
In everything we do, we aspire to make your driving experience as intuitive as possible.
Creating a oneness between you and your vehicle. Seamless connections that help you engage with the moment. Which is why we engineer to a feeling, not a specification. To leave you feeling energised. Rejuvenated. You, at one with your Mazda.
Your inspiration. Your space. Your command station. This is the driver-centric cabin within the Mazda CX-30, where every control is situated within your reach, so you can stay focused on the road ahead. An intuitive instrument panel places information within your line of sight to minimise distraction. The center console and Multimedia Commander are positioned for optimal comfort of the wrist and forearm. And now, the Mazda Connect infotainment system provides Apple CarPlay® (shown) and Android Auto™ integration for your mobile phone. Communication between you and your vehicle becomes second nature—by design.
